Course Objectives The aim of the course is to teach students the concept, importance and types of local governments
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Wiil be able to define the concept of local government,
  • Wiil be able to explain the importance of local governments,
  • Wiil be able to classify local governments in Turkey,
  • Wiil be able to compare local governments around the World,
  • Wiil be able to discuss the local government units.
Course Description This course includes the concept of local government, local government structures in Turkey and in the world, Special Provincial Administrations, municipalities, village administrations, local government associations and local government banking.
